Madi grew up in South West Missouri on the edge of the Ozark Mountains after which she moved to Columbia, MO to attend college at the University of Missouri. She spent the majority of her young and maturing life surrounded by nature and being influenced by the way it creeps back into civilization no matter how hard humanity fights against it.
These experiences have helped her dial in on her interests of botanical dyed fabrics, handmade paper and recycled/upcycled material.
