Road Trip 5- Biding Time Outside of Bandelier

Rather than wait in line for hours to enter the ruins of the ancestral pueblo, I recommend hiking through the foothills seeking out as many signs of their dwellings as you can outside of the park bounds. Many cliffs abound decorated with their art, and pocked by viga holes. Be patient, feel the lands they walked. Your turn will come to enter, but there is no reason to hurry when there is so much more to see.
