Passage Into Myth
The Cornish coast is a primal place when seen from landlocked eyes. Here we stand upon Roman stone, fallen and risen many times over. This is what remains of Tintagel Castle, a trading port at the edge of the Roman world. It is also the fabled birthplace of King Arthur though when I stood here, I was captivated by the wind carved stone and the boundless eternity of a mist shrouded sea merged into heaven’s dome.
